Itinerary 1 – 10 December 2024
DAY 1 – Sun 1 Dec 2024 – SYDNEY depart 5pm
Sydney, the capital of New South Wales is located on the east coast of Australia. It is the most popular city to visit as it is best known for the iconic Sydney Harbour, amazing beaches, lush national parks and world-class restaurants. With Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House located around Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and the beautiful botanic gardens to the west and Australia’s iconic Bondi Beach to the east, Sydney is certainly one place you don’t want to miss out on!
DAY 2 – Mon 2 Dec 2024 – at sea (conference day)
DAY 3 – Tue 3 Dec 2024 – HOBART 8am – 6pm (docked)
Hobart is the capital of Australia’s island state of Tasmania. Tasmania is located at the southernmost part of Australia. Hobart was founded in 1803, making it the 2nd oldest city in the country, after Sydney, New South Wales and was first established as a penal colony for British convicts.
DAY 4 – Wed 4 Dec 2024 – at sea (conference day)
DAY 5 – Thu 5 Dec 2024 – KANGAROO ISLAND 9am – 7pm (tendered)
Cruise ships anchor off the town of Penneshaw and tender to the jetty. Kangaroo Island, named by Matthew Flinders in 1802, is Australia’s third largest island. Situated 112 km SW of Adelaide, it is a pristine untamed wilderness where the koalas aren’t being cuddled, they’re relaxing at home in native trees.
DAY 6 – Fri 6 Dec 2024 – ADELAIDE 8am – 8pm (docked)
The Port Adelaide Passenger Terminal is 22 km from Adelaide city centre. Access is via a vehicle drop-off zone, or a 200 m walk to Outer Harbour railway station. Park cars nearby, but note there is no long-term parking. Adelaide is an architecturally-planned city, set beside the River Torrens between the Adelaide Hills and Gulf St Vincent.

DAY 8 – Sun 8 Dec 2024 – MELBOURNE 8am – 6pm (docked)
Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, is also known as the cultural, culinary and sporting capital of Australia. Set on the Yarra River, the city is home to world-class sports facilities, museums, galleries and theatres and many revered restaurants. The Central Business District (CBD) has become renowned for its tiny laneways, boutique shopping, street art and impeccable barista-made coffee.
